Yorkshire & Humber Academic Health Science Network launch DATA-CAN

View the latest event by Yorkshire & Humber Academic Health Science Network, as they discuss the launch of DATA-CAN, the Health Data Research Hub for Cancer, in their region.

On the 29th April the Yorkshire & Humber Academic Health Science Network hosted the launch of DATA-CAN, the Health Data Research Hub for Cancer, in their region.

The event was aimed at the cancer leads from care providers across Yorkshire and Humber plus those with an interest in this area from Clinical Commissioning Groups, Commissioning Support Units, Sustainability and Transformation Projects, Integrated Care Systems, NHS England, NHS Digital and Primary Care.

We very much hope that attendees came away knowing more about DATA-CAN, the Yorkshire & Humber Local Healthcare Record Exemplar, IQVIA Oncology Data Network and the role that Leeds Teaching Hospitals are playing on behalf of the Yorkshire & Humber region to link clinical data and respond to the national research efforts into COVID-19.

You can watch a recording of the event here.
